Kathleen Fletcher

Dr. Fletcher has been associated with the nonprofit management education program at USF for over 20 years.  She began teaching as adjunct faculty in the Master of Nonprofit Administration (MNA) program in 1986 and became Program Director for the Nonprofit Administration program in 2005.  She also serves as Director of the Institute for Nonprofit Organization Management, which conducts research on the nonprofit sector in California and sponsors conferences and symposia on topics related to nonprofit management.  Prior to her current fulltime role at USF, she had been a consultant and researcher in nonprofit management for over 25 years, specializing in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, and program evaluation. Besides teaching in the MNA program, she teaches courses in nonprofit governance to MBA students at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Her research activities have included studies on board/executive relations, ethnic diversity on nonprofit boards, and nontraditional board structures and practices.
