Brief Biography

Jorge A. Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership at the College of Professional Studies of the University of San Francisco. He received his Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M University. He has published research articles in Personnel Psychology, the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and the International Journal of Manpower, as well as academic book chapters. His current research focuses on workforce diversity, job embeddedness, and cross-cultural issues in Management with emphasis on Mexico and Latin America. He is faculty advisor for the Management Doctoral Student Association of the Ph.D. Project. Before joining USF, he taught International Business and International Management at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City. He teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Communication, and Organizational Leadership.
