On behalf of all the faculty, staff, and administrators of the College of Professional Studies, we welcome you to our unique and creative learning community. It is not our intention to overwhelm you with superlatives about our College. Rather, we hope to introduce you to the powerful network of programs, resources, and traditions that shape our identity as a groundbreaking educational center that promotes transformational learning for evolving and emerging professions.

Grounded in the nearly five-century long tradition of Jesuit education, the College of Professional Studies at USF is committed to the education of the whole person, intellectually, ethically, and spiritually. Professional skills and knowledge are important. However, skills alone are not enough. CPS is committed to a reflective and applied educational experience that helps to shape agents for change.

We work to train leaders who make a difference in corporations, neighborhoods, and throughout the scope of their national or international contacts. We provide strategies for today, while encouraging a vision that sees profound possibilities for tomorrow. Our students are adult professionals who are capable of being agents for growth, productivity, creativity, and humane values.
