Steps to Admission

  1. Request Information
    First, let us send you a brochure of all of our evening bachelor's completion programs. Let us know your specific programs of interest and we will send you additional brochures on them. Click here to have a package mailed to you. You may also call us at (415) 422-6000 to request an information packet.

  2. Information Meeting
    Next, we invite you to attend an information meeting at one of our six campus locations. For meetings at the San Francisco, Cupertino, San Ramon, North Bay, or Sacramento Campuses, please click on the campus of your choice or call the specific campus.

  3. Transcripts
    Order one copy of each transcript from the Registrar's Office of any colleges that you have attended. Also, obtain a copy of any military records or ACE-accredited employee training programs you have completed. Have transcript copies mailed to yourself.

  4. Advising Appointment
    Call for an advising appointment to discuss your current status as a student, your educational goals, the different programs at USF, the entrance requirements, financial aid, and to draw up a degree plan. Bring sealed copies of your transcripts to your advising appointment. Email the campus of your choice to make an appointment with an advisor:

    San Francisco
    Cupertino
    San Ramon
    Santa Rosa
    Sacramento

  5. Application
    Submit your application. You may send the following items to your advisor or to the Office of Admission, University of San Francisco, 2130 Fulton Street, San Francisco, CA 94117.
    1. Application form
    2. Application fee of $55
    3. All official, sealed college transcripts. Also, send unofficial copies of military forms DD214, DD295, AARTS transcripts, California POST basic certificates, and any transcripts of ACE-accredited employer courses.

  6. Application Status
    When we have received your application, we will send you an email with your log-in and password to our online application status site. Once you have received it, click here to learn your current status.

  7. Financial Aid
    If you plan to apply for financial assistance, call the Financial Aid Office at 415/422-6303 for a FAFSA ("Free Application for Federal Student Aid") or apply for a federal student loan online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
